The Fluum Custom plan is built for sales teams, enterprise BD teams, and collectives that need more than self-serve matching. It includes a fully managed workflow from audience building through to booked meetings, with every lead vetted before it reaches your pipeline.

Here’s how the process works from sign-up to your first intro.

Step 1: Custom onboarding

After signing up, you go through a dedicated onboarding process where Fluum collects the data it needs to run your campaigns. This is different from the Grow and Pro plans where you set up your own ICP. On the Custom plan, the Fluum team works with you directly to configure everything.

During onboarding you provide:

Your target audience and goals. This includes your ideal client profile, specific target accounts, and what you’re trying to achieve (meetings booked, partnerships closed, pipeline generated). The more specific you are, the better the matching.

Signals to track. Fluum monitors real-time buying signals to find prospects at the right moment. You tell the team which signals matter to you: job changes, funding rounds, hiring activity, content engagement, tech stack changes, and others. These signals feed directly into the matching algorithm.

Your outreach templates. You share 2-3 DM or email templates that reflect your voice and messaging style. Fluum uses these as the foundation for personalised outreach on your behalf, so every message sounds like it came from you.

Case studies. If your case studies are not publicly available, you provide them during onboarding. Fluum uses these to add credibility and context to intro messages, giving the prospect a reason to engage.

All of this data feeds into Fluum’s AI to generate personalised matches and intro messages tailored to your business. On the Grow and Pro plans, users configure this themselves. On the Custom plan, the Fluum team sets it up for you and optimises it over time.

Step 2: Custom audience building

Using the data from onboarding, Fluum builds a curated prospect list mapped to the specific roles, industries, company sizes, and geographies you want to reach. This goes beyond the standard AI filters. If you sell into niche verticals like manufacturing procurement or fintech compliance, the targeting is built around those specifics.

Step 3: Lead vetting and scoring

Every lead that enters your pipeline is vetted before you see it. Fluum runs a custom scoring process that checks each prospect for relevance, seniority, and fit against your target audience. The algorithm prioritises prospects showing the buying signals you selected during onboarding. Leads that don’t meet the threshold are filtered out.

Step 4: No domain or spam headaches

Fluum handles all outreach from its own infrastructure. Your email domain stays clean. You never have to worry about deliverability, spam folder placement, or blacklisting. The outreach goes out under Fluum’s managed sending setup, and your brand reputation stays protected.

Step 5: Warm introductions

Once a prospect is qualified, Fluum sends a personalised warm introduction on your behalf using the messaging templates and case studies you provided during onboarding. The prospect receives context about who you are and why the connection is relevant. Both sides opt in before any conversation starts. This is the same double opt-in process used across all Fluum plans, but with Custom the outreach messaging and sequencing is fully managed.

Step 6: Lead warm-up before the call

Before a call is scheduled, the prospect has already been through the introduction sequence. They know who you are, what you do, and why the meeting is worth their time. By the time you get on a call, the prospect is informed and engaged.

Step 7: Booked meetings add-on

For teams that want a fully hands-off experience, Fluum offers a booked meetings add-on. Fluum’s team handles the scheduling after the introduction is accepted. You receive a confirmed meeting in your calendar with a qualified prospect. No back-and-forth on availability, no chasing for a time slot.
