When you request an intro on Fluum Connect, you no longer have to wonder what happened next. The Lead Status Timeline shows you exactly where each introduction stands, from the moment Fluum reaches out to the decision-maker through to a confirmed intro or outcome.

Where to find it

The timeline appears on your dashboard below the context card for each intro request. It updates automatically as the introduction progresses.

What each status means

Your intro request moves through these stages:

Outreach Sent — Fluum sent the first message to the decision-maker on your behalf. You will see their first name and a note that typical response time is 2 to 4 weeks.

Reminder Sent — Fluum followed up with the decision-maker. No action needed from you.

Viewed — The decision-maker opened the outreach message or clicked a link. This is a positive signal that they are reviewing your request.

Accepted — The decision-maker agreed to the introduction. The next step is a direct connection between you and them.

Intro Made — Both parties have been connected. Check your inbox for the shared conversation thread. We recommend reaching out within 48 hours while the intro is fresh.

Declined — The decision-maker passed on this intro. You will see a short reason tag and, where available, a feedback note explaining why. This helps you refine your targeting for future matches.

No Response — No reply was received after 4 weeks. Fluum will close this request and continue matching you with new prospects. This does not count against you in any way.

How statuses progress

Statuses only move forward. The typical positive path is: Outreach Sent, Reminder Sent, Viewed, Accepted, Intro Made. If the decision-maker declines or does not respond, the timeline reflects that clearly.

What you need to do

Nothing. The timeline updates automatically. Your only action is to respond promptly when an intro is accepted and lands in your inbox.

FAQs

Why has my intro been on “Outreach Sent” for a while? Decision-makers are busy. Most responses on Fluum arrive within 14 to 30 days. The status will update as soon as there is new activity.

Does “No Response” mean the person rejected me? No. It means they did not reply within 4 weeks. This happens for many reasons unrelated to the quality of your profile or offer. Fluum continues generating new matches for you.

I see “Viewed” but nothing else has changed. Should I worry? No. “Viewed” means the decision-maker opened your request. They are considering it. Give it time
